Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 13 May 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EventHora platform (the “Service”) operated by EventHora (“EventHora”, “we”, “us”). By signing in, creating an event, or registering for an event, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Organiser— an individual or organisation using the Service to host an event.
  • Attendee— an individual registering for an event published on the Service.
  • Partner— a person or organisation given entry pass allocations by an Organiser to add or invite Attendees on the Organiser's behalf.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an Organiser account. By creating an account you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding the phone number used for OTP login and for all activity under your account.

3. Role of EventHora

EventHora is a software platform. We are not the organiser of the events listed on the Service and are not a party to the contract between an Organiser and an Attendee. The Organiser is solely responsible for the event itself, including its content, legality, accuracy of information, and the quality of any goods or services offered at the event.

4. Organiser responsibilities

  • You will only host events that comply with applicable laws, including local public-gathering, licensing, and content rules.
  • You will accurately describe entry pass types, prices, schedules, venue, and refund policy on the event page.
  • You will honour the entry passes you sell, manage your own attendee communications, and respond promptly to attendee queries.
  • You will not use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages. WhatsApp templates and bulk messages must comply with Meta's and our messaging policies.
  • You are responsible for collecting, remitting, and reporting any taxes (including GST) that apply to your event sales. EventHora may collect platform fees and gateway charges and will issue appropriate documentation for those.

5. Attendee responsibilities

  • You will provide accurate information when registering for an event.
  • You will not transfer, resell, or share your entry pass / QR code unless the Organiser explicitly permits it. Entry passes that are duplicated, defaced, or obtained fraudulently may be invalidated at the gate without refund.
  • The Organiser's rules of entry, including age, dress, and security checks, apply at the venue.

6. Payments & fees

Paid events are processed through our payment partners. Entry pass prices, platform fees, and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. Payment confirmations, including the order ID, are sent to the Attendee's phone number / email and are also visible to the Organiser. EventHora may set off platform fees, gateway charges, refunds, and chargebacks against amounts owed to the Organiser.

7. Refunds & cancellations

EventHora's standard policy is no refund, described in full in our Refund Policy. Organisers may publish an additional refund policy specific to their event; in that case, refund requests are handled directly by the Organiser, and EventHora's role is limited to processing the refund through the payment gateway once the Organiser approves it.

8. Intellectual property

EventHora retains all rights in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. Organisers retain all rights in the content they upload (event descriptions, banners, pass designs). By uploading content you grant EventHora a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with the Service's integrity or security;
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, infringes another person's rights, or violates applicable law;
  • Use the Service to send messages to people who have not opted in (e.g. cold-blasting WhatsApp users with promotional content).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, without prior notice for material breaches.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may schedule maintenance, change features, or discontinue parts of the Service. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect active events.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventHora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. EventHora does not warrant that any event will meet the Attendee's expectations.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EventHora's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the platform fees paid by you to EventHora in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 5,000. EventHora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, or data.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold EventHora harmless from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your event, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “effective date” at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
